Healing from Within

I’m sharing this as an invitation to reciprocate wisdom from our life’s path and enjoy this growth in community.

I feel that throughout my public artistic & social expression
I’ve maintained a certain discretion with this type of message.
Why? Because I’ve been learning, taking notes, exploring and stretching my creativity; getting closer to the essence of life.

Of course that this path has not been “straightforward” as one could assume (that’s for another post) yet everything that has happened has been a key influence/lesson that is in its process of fully healing through this present awareness. & thus I write this as a reminder for that.

Experiences that have served as a catalyst for change:

  • Mental Resistance
  • Overthinking
  • Procrastination
  • Mindless consumption of information
  • Anxiety
  • The feeling of being lost
  • Indulging in guilt
  • Limiting the self through insecurities
  • Finding the self easily distracted by thoughts
  • Not being in the present

Context of recent reflections

  • The brain is an organism that, due to its complex neural inter-connectivity, is able to recognize itself as “someone”  through the illusion of the ego. Naturally, this form of life is attracted to the ideal environment to thrive (optimal food, sleep, technology, etc.) and so it develops a network of systems for itself.
  • However, since the conception of the self, this natural mechanism has been tangling itself up in its own network of identities, inventions and “understandings”; thus straying away from its essence in the process. Now, an overwhelming programming of complex language has taken over as the unquestionable and inevitable reality.
    • Greed, duty, separation, comparison; and either a never-ending process of accumulating understanding, or an existential conformity in unquestionable faith.
  • It is then when one ceases all understanding/judgement when true freedom happens.
  • In some cases, deep despair and fundamental contradictions in the programming would cause a brain to turn its attention to itself and that’s when the process of deconstruction can start to happen.

If I’m “someone”, I’m curious awareness probing and observing while flowing in (& sometimes out of) presence.
I’m energy, I’m presence, I’m life.
A perception that recognizes itself as cosmic expression.

Welcome back -unconditionally- to this healing awareness.
