Well Hello! 

Whether you’re here because you followed the bit.ly link at the back of one of my prints (and bought it in the process) or just because you looked up my website directly, I wrote this post for you.

Here I’ll share my intention with each of the prints that I’ll be selling at the Shop.East location for the East Austin Studio Tour <3! Come and visit us this coming Saturday and Sunday (23rd & 24th) from 3pm to 6pm at the Unit C!

First off, I’d like to say that each of the prints that I mention here contains a reminder that I consider essential. These are reminders that keep me grounded and aware of a truth that is generally scarce in the modern day. 
Said that, I invite you to take my prints as a physical anchor of these truths.

Mandala

The power of the Here & Now is immeasurable. It brings an inherent patience for the work at task. Such flow states bring the flavors of the experience to its most detailed forms. Remember, this process is the goal, so let’s focus & have fun with it.

Nature Within

We are nature. Our whole being comes from it, and we go back to it. However, because of all the synthetic elements around us (and in us) it’s easy to lose the sense of our unity with the natural environment that conforms every bit of us.

Día de los Perros

Influenced by the “Día de los Muertos”, this piece recognizes the death within as something that is a natural -and essential- part of life. In fact, instead of fearing death, we recognize it and celebrate the memory of our past loved ones. With this piece I invite you to see the potential death and fragility in ourselves and to use this reminder to make the most out of your ~living~ life.

To be aware is to know the power that one has over the mind. By acting in a conscious manner, we take the reigns of the self. This way, we are able to break out from our past mental patterns and create a possibility that opens up the doors for infinite possibilities.
