We are in a historic time for introspection.

To put it in a few words, we are living through an unprecedented pandemic that is deconstructing the way we live and think about everything.

That said, is of top priority to remember that the way the corona-virus is changing your life, regardless of how hard or easy the experience might feel, deserves your unconditional honor and compassion.

The first thing we need to do in order to be able to contribute to the solution is through our own mental and physical health. So let’s ask (and eat) good things.

Why Question Yourself?

Well, as you’d want to better know someone you care about, it’s also important to keep exploring ourselves through the act of inquiring and self observation. And what a better time to bring that intention up a notch & go deeper within. 🤿
As a personal finding (and logical assumption), the implementation of a journal through this experience will enhance the way you answer these questions and will open up the opportunity for further insights!
Your older self will thank us for this.

One Good Question a Day keeps the (existential) crises away

Starting yesterday, I have and will be sharing a daily question as an IG Story for us to have a moment of introspection in this quarantined month of April (I will be archiving the questions at my highlights).
The initial intention behind the creation of all the questions was to only bring my mother up (that’s why they’ll be in Spanish. Which is also an opportunity for you to return to the language) as I’m far away from home and I wanted to inspire her to re-awaken her creative/introspective spark. However, I also want to extend the good intention to all of you, so here we are.

In other words, the questions will be family-friendly, a tad witty, and with mucho sabor 🌶

Small Questions for Anytime

As there are questions that fully transport us to other times and places, there are ones that bring us to our center and that we can use as a gentle scan/checkpoint throughout the day. .Such questions could be either used along a whole meditative session, or as a light pondering as we go about our daily activities. .Here’s a little list:

  • How am I feeling right now?
  • Am I being patient and loving with myself?
  • What sensations am I sensing in my body? (scan your body in a curious manner)
  • Am I fully present in the moment? (deep breaths will enhance the question)
  • What things from the external world can we sense? (focus on each at a time)
  • What are the thoughts that are arising from my brain? (observe without resistance)

I hope you find this exercise as helpful as I do and I’m looking forward to sharing our answers and progress in this month of April!
